Gestalt Mind

Once upon a crime

I think I robbed Enchanted Lands blind last night.  I didn’t get online until nearly 9:30, so all I had time for was a quick harvest run.  My tailor is still needing roots and hides to finish off T4, so I thought a quick run to EL and then bed.

I grabbed the harvest quest in TS as I always do and jumped to EL.  I jumped off the dock and saw an Ore cluster, so I harvested it.  Feysteel.  I ran out on my route harvesting every node I came across.  Of course, as always, the lazy asses were in abundance so provo nodes were every-freaking-where.  I had capped out my “collect 100″ quest before I even reached the wall.

I crossed under the wall and saw an ore node, so I harvested it.  Cool.  Another feysteel.

I kept running gathering up roots, hides, foods… everything.  If I see a node, it gets harvested.  I don’t nitpick.  If I don’t need it, I offer it up to my guild.  If no one needs it, I go ahead and craft a finished product and drop it on the broker.

During the 15 minutes I was in Enchanted Lands, I passed 14 ore nodes… and I ended up with 14 Feysteel clusters.  A few weeks ago when I was needing Feysteel, I couldn’t have sold my soul to get one.  Now, I have enough to craft 2 suits of armor.

Oddly enough, I had enough time to run the rounds in Everfrost too, so I went back to TS to turn in my gather quest and picked it up again for Everfrost and headed out.  First node I saw was an ore node, so I harvested it.  Ebon cluster.

I nearly fainted.

The trend didn’t continue though.  The ebon cluster flood screeched to a halt after the one, but I’m still thankful to have received that one.

I’m afraid to go back to the Enchanted Lands for a while though.  I’m fearful that all the little deputies will be waiting for me with an arrest warrant.
